Lori from Pretty Things hosted a bead soup blog party and today everyone is showing what we've made from all the really cool goodies! If you click on the button above, it will take you to Lori's party page. Also, the complete list is below.
This is my bead soup mix that I received from Jo Ann at Jo's Jewels. I love green... this couldn't have been more perfect!
I've been experimenting... adding buttons, wire wrapping, chain and stuff like that; so I decided to see what I could do... and I have a new bracelet! It was definately a challenge! Many of the components had two holes, something I haven't worked with much. I have some two-holed vintage beads that I've had for some time now... guess I don't have an excuse not to work with them now! Thanks so much Jo Ann!! I'm going to be wearing it often!

Wow!Brilliantly done. I'm loveing the green!Love the asymetrical look.
Wow, I love what you did with those beads. When I look at the initial stash and what you came up with, I am just amazed at the results. Very, very COOL!
I love how the chain transforms a very traditionally looking set of beads into a completely modern design. Great job!
Stunning! Such pretty greens and just enough "dazzle" power.

Beautiful design, I really love it xxx
Oh cool, you made a bracelet! I love it! Green is so vivid, and perfect for March!
Thanks for being a part of the party — we’ll do it again soon!
I love that bracelet, very vintage looking. You did a wonderful job of designing.
2-hole beads can be a challenge, but it looks like you pulled it off wonderfully. Beautiful!
I love the way you used those curved tube beads. That green is so vibrant and full of life.
Thanks for sharing this heaping serving of great soup! Be sure to stop by and taste some of mine. Enjoy the day! Erin
What a creative, clever design--you really did a beautiful bracelet with your 'soup'!
Lovely, lovely bracelet. There is something delicate about it and bold at the same time. I don't gravitate to greens very naturally, but I am inspired by your creation. Bravo to you!
That's a really fun design! I like the asymmetry, and those curved beads are tons of fun!! Good for you for exploring new ways of using components!
Patti this is so cool. I love bracelets with chain. When you look at the soup ingredients and then your finished design, it looks like a puzzle piece you "just" had to put together. The beads were meant to be attached like that. Great job.
I have a weakness for bracelets anyway and this one is so fresh and pretty. Great job!
So pretty! I love the variety of shapes and textures that are all tied together with the silvers and greens. Nice!
woohoo!! I so want this!!! its gorgeous i love all the different elements and sparkling bits! great job!!!
I love all the textures in your bracelet - it's the type of design that I would play with a lot while wearing! Beautiful!
Patty, I am stunned at what you came up with my beads. So beautiful! So different from what I expected, so unique and you made it your own! Beautiful job!!
so creative and i love the green...
I love green also and think you did a fabulous job, Really beautiful.
That's a great bracelet - and such a lovely shade of green! Now, you're all ready for St Paddy's Day :o) I'm glad that I'm not the only one that can be stumped by multi-holed beads...Funny how something like that can just make your brain shut down...
this is so funky, i love it!
It is beautiful to be green! Wonderfully creative, love it!
All those gorgeous greens, lovely -- you'll be ready for St. Patrick's day, won't you!
Hasn't this been fun?
