The three sparks for this week are:
#1 Artistic theme- woodland
#2 Theme words or phrase- trees, birds, fly, clouds, moss, grass, twigs, mist
#3 photo and color palette
Woodsy Yellow Bird Necklace
To add a touch of brighter color, I chose to pull out the yellow from the photo even though it wasn't in the color palette. The clay leaf (actually a pin which I wired on) has a bit of yellow glaze and is made by a local artist, except I'm sorry to say I don't remember the name. The yellow polymer clay bird is crafted by Heather Powers, Humble Beads.
I strung some matching beads, ridged wood rondelles and a wooden button for a clasp. A simple spark.

Hi Patti -
How fun to see your piece this week! I love the simplicity of your design, and (of course) Heather's birdy bead. Great job!

Hi Patti
I love your piece...so organic. Heather's birds are so sweet...and I really like the leaf charm you used as well. And the leather is just perfect - an all-around Woodland piece! :-)
